Job Overview
Would you like the opportunity to work at the heart of the Island’s democracy?
We’re looking for an organised and motivated team player to join the Support Services Team in the States Greffe, helping to deliver an effective administration service to the department and to the States Assembly.
As part of the team, you would provide first line administrative support for the States Greffe and States Members, and deal with enquiries from public visitors to the States Assembly Information Centre. You would prepare and administer documentation for States meetings; and attend these meetings, and Scrutiny hearings, to operate the audio, log-noting and webcasting systems. You would also administer travel bookings and help to manage the use of States Assembly facilities.
The successful candidate will be prepared to take on a variety of tasks and be able to work calmly in a busy, fast-paced and politically-sensitive environment. They will have good keyboard skills and will need to demonstrate a good sense of organisation and communication.
