Using the search bar

Using the Search Bar

To search for jobs on careers.gov.je:

  • In the Search Bar at the top of any page, click the Search Jobs button. You will be able to view all live opportunities across the Jersey Public Service.  
  • Alternatively, in the Search Bar, you can use the Search by Keyword field to enter keywords that may appear in the title or Job Description. Once you have typed in your keywords, click the Search Jobs button. 
  • In the Search Bar you can also click the Show More Options dropdown to choose from the following additional search filters: Job Function, Full-time or Part-time, and Contract Type. Once you have set the filters as you would like, click the Search Jobs button.

When you click the Search Jobs button, you will be taken to the Search Jobs Results page:

  • When you are on the Search Jobs Results page, scroll down and you will see a list of jobs. 
  • On the Search Jobs Results page you can select additional filters to use, including: Job Title, Department, and Department Area. Once you have set the filters as you would like, click the Filter button and scroll down to see the results. 
  • If there are multiple jobs available, you can navigate through the Search Job Results page using the Numbers or Arrows at the top and bottom of the page. 
  • To find our more information about the jobs, simply click on the relevant Job Title.

Important - Current employees:

If you are currently employed by the Jersey Public Service, we recommend applying for jobs through the Internal Connect People portal by clicking ‘Careers’ in the drop-down menu on the home page. If you do not have access to Connect People or a Government-registered device, please proceed with your application on careers.gov.je.
