Our internships offer a 6-week paid period of work experience from 20 July 2026 until 28 August 2026. The application deadline is 1 March 2026.
To take part you must live in Jersey and hold ‘Entitled’ or ‘Entitled to work’ employment status.

What are internships?+
Our internships are a paid period of work experience, usually completed over 6 weeks during the summer. They offer a chance for you to gain industry-specific skills and practical knowledge. They provide real-world exposure to the working environment and allow you to get a feel for your chosen field.
What areas do our internships cover?+
We offer internships in a variety of different areas across the Jersey Public Service. The diversity of career paths available is enormous and the ability to make an impact is tangible. From medicine to marketing, engineering to building maintenance, as well as digital, IT, accounting and customer service, we can accommodate all interests.
Who should apply for an internship?+
Our internships are usually best suited to school leavers, those undertaking degrees, or recent graduates.
Applicants must live in Jersey and have 'Entitled' or 'Entitled to work' residential and employment status.
