Probation and After-Care Service
Probation and After-Care Service
Shaping lives, protecting communities, and championing justice
At Jersey Probation & After-Care Service (JPACS), we’re committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families across Jersey. By providing expert social work services to the Courts, Parishes, and Prison, we play a vital role in both the Criminal Justice and Family Law arenas. Our focus is on reducing re-offending, fostering restitution, and safeguarding the public – work that truly matters.
The Jersey Family Court Advisory Service (JFCAS) is dedicated to representing the best interests of children in family court proceedings. Serving the Royal Court, we provide detailed reports and expert advice in both public and private family law cases, ensuring the voice of the child is heard and their welfare prioritised.
In all its work, JPACS promotes respect and dignity for everyone we serve. Guided by the Council of Europe’s Probation Rules, the European Convention on Human Rights, and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, we ensure our work meets the highest standards of fairness, compassion, and professionalism.
