Administrative Assistant - Community Physiotherapy Team
Location: Enid Quenault Health and Wellbeing Centre
Department: Community Physiotherapy Team
We are looking for a motivated and organised Administrative Assistant to join our Community Physiotherapy Team, based at the Enid Quenault Health and Wellbeing Centre.
This is a busy and rewarding role that will involve regular communication with members of the public, healthcare professionals and colleagues via telephone and email. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to help ensure the smooth running of the service.
Key Responsibilities
Answering telephone calls and responding to email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Communicating with patients, carers and healthcare professionals.
Booking, amending and managing appointments using the MAXIMS patient administration system.
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient information is updated as required.
Providing general administrative support to the Community Physiotherapy Team.
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional approach.
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
Excellent IT skills and confidence using various computer systems.
Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a busy environment.
Experience of working in an administrative or customer-facing role would be advantageous.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with people, has a proactive attitude, and thrives in a busy team environment where excellent customer service is essential.
