Job Overview
As a key part of the Assessment and Support team, the Advanced Social Worker would manage and provide comprehensive assessments and protection services to Jersey’s at-risk children, young people, and their carers. The post holder would oversee the approval of resource allocation to meet the needs of service users. The Practice Manager would supervise and monitor a team of qualified Assessment and Support social workers and lead the delivery of the service’s day-to-day work to ensure the fulfilment of responsibilities and to promote the wellbeing of all children in need of care and/or protection services in line with Jersey legislation.
