Job Overview

Are you passionate about health, data, and making a real difference?

We're looking for an Assistant Data Analyst to join our Health and Care Jersey Data and Analytics Team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your analytics career while helping improve health and care services for Islanders.

You'll work with data spanning acute hospital services, adult community services, and mental health, providing insights that support better decision-making, service improvement, and patient outcomes. Few analytical roles offer the opportunity to work across such a broad and meaningful range of health and care services.

This is a developmental role, and we'll provide training, support, and opportunities to learn. What matters most is your curiosity, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and desire to make a difference.

This is an exciting time to join the team, as Health and Care Jersey progresses its Connecting Health programme and adopts industry-leading technology to modernise how information is used across services. The role will help shape how data and analytics support this transformation, turning better-connected information into practical insight for teams, leaders, and Islanders.

We'd be happy to arrange an informal chat about the role, the team, and what it's like to work in Health and Care Jersey Data and Analytics. Please contact Sam Lempiere - Head of Data and Analytics - s.lempriere@health.gov.je

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about health and the power of data
  • Wants to make a positive difference through their work
  • Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality outputs
  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Enjoys learning, problem-solving, and asking questions
  • Works well with others and values collaboration

We can teach technical skills. What we're looking for is someone who is passionate about health, curious about data, and motivated to make a difference.

You'll join a supportive team of experienced analysts who are passionate about using data to improve services and outcomes across Jersey.
