Job Overview

Are you looking for a development opportunity that gives you autonomy to manage a range of services and develop skills in strategic, project management and operational problem solving?

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant General Manager to join the Medicine Care Group at Health and Care Jersey.  The post holder will have the opportunity to manage several medical specialties, include the emergency department, to help make lasting improvements which support pathway management of patients ensuring timely access to quality care and meeting HCJ’s operational KPIs.

 

The postholder will have a large degree of autonomy and opportunity to lead change and will work closely with the whole multi-disciplinary team ensuring services are delivered effectively and safely.  The role forms part of the senior leadership team within the Care Group.  We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate a commitment to improve the operational performance of clinical services through collaborative and compassionate leadership.

 

The post holder will also support he team to deliver the requirements of the Jersey Care Commission, financial recovery, cost improvements, culture and workforce transformation.
