Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Assistant Manager to join our residential rehabilitation service for women with complex emotional needs. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced support worker or healthcare assistant looking to develop their leadership skills within a specialist mental health rehabilitation setting.

 

The successful candidate will work alongside the Registered Manager and multidisciplinary team, you will provide day-to-day leadership and support to staff while helping to create a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment and support the delivery of high-quality care, promote positive outcomes for residents, contribute to risk management and safeguarding processes, and act as a role model for best practice.

You will also be required to support the Registered Manager in the effective day-to-day operation of a residential rehabilitation service for women with complex emotional needs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and support.

 

The Assistant Manager will provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to support staff, promoting a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment that enables residents to achieve greater independence, emotional wellbeing, and personal goals.

 

Working closely with residents, families, external professionals, and the wider multidisciplinary team, the Assistant Manager will help maintain high standards of care, foster a positive culture, and support the ongoing development of the service.
