Job Overview
This is an opportunity to join the Organisation Development (OD) team as an Assistant. The role will focus on supporting the OD team in its delivery of Government-wide initiatives including Long Service Awards, Employee engagement and recognition, Bespoke Interventions, overseeing the volunteering policy, and driving a culture of Performance Management. The role also includes responding to subject access requests (SARs)
The postholder will bring:
- a comprehensive and confidential administrative service, which may include management of diaries, Ask HR tickets, mailboxes and correspondence. Receive and respond to enquiries from/to customers to provide a timely, courteous and effective service to others
- a ‘can do’ attitude, responding to enquiries and challenges as they arise and showing flexibility in support of the wider team.
- an eye for detail and appreciation for excellence, in implementing processes, undertaking practical tasks, proofreading and editing documents and webpages, and testing systems.
- excellent customer service. Our stakeholders are our colleagues, we exist to make other’s work lives as efficient, effective and engaging as possible.
- their own initiative, suggesting, improvements and demonstrating a trustworthiness so as to work autonomously
