We are looking to fill Assistant Revenue Officer roles within our Personal Income Tax and Corporate Income Tax teams. The roles are crucial across our business areas and provide an excellent development opportunity within Revenue Jersey.
Successful candidates will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills and be able to offer a high level of customer service either in person, over the telephone or via email.

Personal Income Tax
Assistant Revenue Officers within this team are the first point of contact for customers and are responsible for reviewing and scrutinising returns that are received to ensure that all income is declared correctly, and that claims for relief made are consistent and allowable within the provisions of the Laws. Duties will also include, responding to all types of tax queries from customers (face to face, by telephone and via our dedicated online form) and assessing eligibility for allowances and concessions, including benefits in kind, to ensure that the correct level of revenue is collected.

Corporate Income Tax
An Assistant Revenue Officer within the Corporate Income Tax (CIT) team will take ownership of a wide breadth of responsibilities relating to the administration and collection of tax from the thousands of corporate entities in Jersey. The varied selection of tasks include ensuring records are accurately kept, that corporate income tax returns are filed on time, and that income tax payments are made within the relevant statutory deadlines. The role requires the highest levels of customer service whilst also ensuring that all required taxes are diligently collected, and that all work is carried out in line with the relevant Laws which govern our work.
