Job Overview
We are excited to offer you the opportunity to be a part of the newly formed Crisis and Assessment Team within Adult Mental Health in the specialist role of Authorised Officer (Jersey's naming of AMHP's or MHO's).
As part of a redesign and an injection of additional funding, the crisis and assessment team assesses individuals at the front door into mental health services, formulating care plans and next steps in collaboration with service users and their carers, in a thriving multi-disciplinary team.
We also manage the 24/7 AO rota, facilitating referrals for, and completion of, mental health law assessments as and when needed. We can offer a good work-life balance, a compassionate and enthusiastic staff team, and opportunities to contribute to the development of the team and the service. We are looking for passionate and confident assessors who can work autonomously and as part of a team.
