Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Blood Transfusion Practitioner to join our dynamic Haematology Team, working in close collaboration with the Hospital Transfusion Service.
This is a pivotal role that bridges clinical practice and transfusion science, ensuring the safe, effective, and evidence-based use of blood and blood components across the organisation.
As a key member of the team, you will provide expert advice, education, and support on transfusion practices, contribute to policy development, and play a vital role in promoting patient safety and compliance with national standards. You will also support audits, incident investigations, and quality improvement initiatives related to transfusion.
