Job Overview

The States of Jersey Ambulance Service is looking for an experienced and skilled administrator with a proven track record of meeting administration. 

 

The successful candidate must be proficient in writing meeting notes / minutes and compiling agendas and papers for board packs. 

 

The role also includes diary management for the Chief Ambulance Officer and being the first point of contact for any queries for the service from the public.  Other tasks include

 

  • data input in a specialised system for which full training will be provided
  • monitoring and maintenance of key tracking documentation
  • proof-reading of key documentation
  • assisting with ordering and purchasing

 

A high level of capability with Microsoft Word, Excel and TEAMS is a must together with an eye for detail and, of course, enthusiasm.  Whilst this is not a frontline role, it is a vital one in ensuring the smooth and effective running of the service which benefits patients Island-wide.
