Job Overview

The post holder will deliver Business Support to the Quality and Safety Team within the Health and Care Jersey Department, providing day-to-day administrative, analytical, and advisory assistance. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a healthcare environment and a growing team, collaborating closely with Audit, Policy, Compliance, and Assurance functions.

 

The role involves delivering comprehensive support within the Business Support function and across Health and Community Services. The post holder will contribute both independently and as part of a team, offering first-line support to services through administrative, analytical, and advisory activities.

 

The successful candidate will be expected to:

 

  • Provide a wide range of high-level administrative support to the relevant business area, using initiative and experience to anticipate needs and respond effectively.
  • Address day-to-day queries with sound judgement, prioritising tasks appropriately while delivering a customer-focused service.
  • Maintain and manage databases, ensuring accurate data entry; undertake analysis and produce tailored reports to support informed decision-making.
  • Proactively review systems and processes within their area of work, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and contributing to overall team efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, sharing relevant information as directed to support collaboration and ensure stakeholders remain well informed of activities, meetings, and developments.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with other teams and services, fostering a collaborative and integrated approach to service delivery.
  • Process invoices and manage financial administrative tasks in line with relevant financial procedures and public sector guidelines.
  • Handle highly sensitive personal information with strict confidentiality, ensuring full compliance with data protection requirements.
