Job Overview
The States Greffe is recruiting to a challenging and rewarding role at the heart of political decision-making in Jersey.
You would provide comprehensive advisory and research support to a Scrutiny Panel, Public Accounts Committee or Privileges and Procedures Committee. Day-to-day tasks would involve producing research papers and briefings, preparing written comments/reports, co-ordinating Panel/Committee work and reviews and liaising with a wide variety of people, including States Members, senior Government officials, representative bodies and the wider public.
You will need to be educated to degree level or hold equivalent experience, have a strong appreciation of current affairs and demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills. Induction and training will be provided. This is a great career opportunity for those with an interest or background in policy and/or legislation.
