Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has risen for a Consultant Radiologist with a specialist interest in Breast Radiology to join our team.

We are currently a team of 8 general consultant radiologists, two of whom have subspecialist interests in breast imaging. This vacancy arises following the retirement of one of our established breast radiologists and presents an exciting opportunity to join a skilled, supportive, and forward-thinking team.

Jersey’s radiology service provides care to a population of approximately 100,000. With this appointment, we will meet the Royal College of Radiologists' recommended consultant-to-population ratio, ensuring sustainability and resilience in our service.

We offer significant flexibility with this role. While the essential requirement is for breast imaging expertise, we welcome applicants with varied interests and will tailor the job to suit the successful candidate’s experience and career aspirations. Options include:

  • A dedicated breast radiologist role with no on-call requirement (on-call commitment is available if desired)
  • A general radiology role with a breast imaging component, including participation in the on-call rota
