Job Overview

 

The Law Officers’ Department is seeking to appoint a Conveyancer to join the Property Team within the Civil Division. This role will involve all transactional aspects of conveyancing, together with the drafting of statutory notices and the provision of Property related legal advice.

 

 

The successful applicant will be a conveyancer with relevant experience gained in a property team in a Jersey legal practice who will have an eye for detail, the ability to translate and interpret historic French contracts and assimilate information quickly and accurately, carry out legal research and present a point of view clearly to legal advisers, the Law Officers and instructing departments.

 

 

The work will be interesting, challenging and varied, working in conjunction with various government departments and His Majesty’s Receiver General on behalf of the Crown. You will have the support of a friendly, inclusive and highly professional team under the leadership of the Attorney General.  

 

 

Salary band placement and progression is commensurate with the successful candidate's depth of experience and knowledge.
