You’ll find countless opportunities to learn, develop and grow a rewarding career where we recognises the importance of your personal and professional well-being. By considering moving internally across the Public Service, you'll be proud of what you can achieve – both for yourself and the people of Jersey.

The Justice and Home Affairs Department is seeking to appoint independent lay and legal members to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board.

Independent lay members and legally qualified members work together to consider written claims to the board. Candidates must have the ability to assimilate relevant information and engage in a discussion to assess the validity of the claim, whether compensation should be awarded and agree a monetary award.  The work requires total confidentiality.

This position provides a rewarding opportunity for someone who wishes to become an integral part of the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme.
