Job Overview

The Jersey Customs and Immigration Service is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team of Officers protecting Jersey's borders and keeping the Island safe. 

 

As a Customs & Immigration Officer, you’ll be part of a dynamic, professional team working across a wide range of operations including border control, immigration, goods control, investigation and intelligence.

 

We are seeking applicants who are physically fit and able to complete our Public & Personal Safety Training. Job-specific training will take place in Jersey and the United Kingdom providing a strong foundation for your career.

 

Candidates will typically start at Grade 7 and will progress to Grade 10 over the course of a 3 year training programme. Applicants must be British Citizens and hold a valid driving licence. A minimum of 2 A Levels or equivalent is required, with a qualification at degree level preferred. The role is subject to vetting / enhanced background checks before appointment is confirmed. 

 
If successful at application stage, candidates will be invited to attend an assessment evening on the 9th or 10th July. Those who progress will then be invited to interview between 16th and 21st July.
