Les Quennevais School is seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and determined Deputy Headteacher to be part of our driven Leadership Team at our exceptionally successful school.
The successful candidate will have gained a strong experience of best-practice at Assistant Headteacher level and will be able to demonstrate that they can draw on this to ensure that every one of our students thrives academically and socially.
The successful candidate will have a deep belief in the rights of every child to have an extraordinary experience in education. They will be a cultural architect who can create alignments between all stakeholders. Interpersonal skills are vital, as are a belief in our school values of resilience, ambition and respect. At Les Quennevais, every student is known and valued. Our students are at the heart of all we do.

A background in pastoral care, behaviour and/or raising standards would be advantageous.

Qualities and attributes we are seeking:

The successful candidate must have excellent leadership and management skills, and the energy and drive to inspire and motivate others.
The focus of the Deputy Headteacher will be Culture, Behaviour and Attitudes alongside other whole school responsibilities. A background in behaviour and pastoral would be advantageous.
