Job Overview

The Childcare and Early Years Service are looking to recruit an Early Years Advisory SENCO to work with registered early years and school nursery settings, supporting them in identifying and responding to children’s additional needs. This role would suit someone experienced and passionate about early childhood development, with excellent knowledge of SEND and inclusive practice. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the postholder will be working closely with parents, professionals, settings, and schools. The role also includes delivering training to the early years professional community on different aspects of SEND.
