Job Overview
Jersey is on an exciting journey towards implementing a new model of Commissioning and Partnership, additionally Jersey is in the final planning of the build of a new hospital that will transform health and social care provision in Jersey.
The overarching aim of Health and Care Jersey is to transform health and social care, in order to improve Islanders’ physical and mental health and wellbeing.
To achieve this, a person-centred approach whereby care is financially sustainable, safe and accessible, being provided in the places where people need it the most.
As the Head of Commissioning and Partnerships, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of the commissioning and partnership approach across the island in order to deliver transformational change.
You will lead and oversee the development and implementation of programmes and services across the health and care system, to ensure services meet the needs of Islanders and deliver positive outcomes. Successful applicants will have a strong background in commissioning, contract management and accounting ideally within health and social care.
They will have an ability to deliver objective and impartial advice that is based on advanced analysis and intelligence to drive improved service quality, customer experience, value for money and outcomes for Islanders.
