Job Overview

We are looking for dedicated Healthcare assistants on the Acute assessment unit. The job will be to support nurses and medical staff in providing high-quality care to patient in the acute setting. The role involves assisting with personal care, mobility, feeding and nutrition and other basic healthcare tasks to ensure patients are safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

 

Main duties:

  • Assist patients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Help patients with mobility, repositioning, and transfers
  • Support patients with their nutrition
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment in line with infection control policies
  • Provide reassurance and emotional support to patients and families
  • Communicate effectively with the nursing and medical team

 

Previous Healthcare experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided.”
