Job Overview

Les Quennevais School is seeking invigilators to support the school and our students taking examinations. This responsible role supports mock exams and public exams, which primarily take place during the summer season of May to July, however there are other times of the year examinations do take place. Invigilators are part of a team managed by the Examinations Officer.  

 

The role of an invigilator is essential to ensure the smooth, secure and fair conduct of examinations and whilst invigliators are present to ensure these activities happen, they are also responsible for the student experience in in so much that they are setting up examinations with the Examinations Officer, supervising students, enforcing examination regulations, supporting if a student becomes unwell or distressed, the distribution and safe collection of papers, and overall maintaining the 'security' of the examination.  Full training will be provided to successful candidates.

 

Please note these are zero hour contracts with hours worked term time only and paid on an hourly rate.
