Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to join our team as the Building a Safer Community (BASC) & Change Delivery Officer.
This role is pivotal in supporting the Justice and BASC Coordinator with the implementation and ongoing success of the BASC framework and its associated action plans.
The successful candidate will act as the Government of Jersey’s key point of contact for BASC education programmes. You will coordinate internal stakeholders and external agencies to drive initiatives that enhance community safety. This includes conducting quality checks, research, and implementing and reviewing programmes, ensuring that they remain current, evidence-based, and aligned with government strategies.
In addition, you will support the JHA Head of Change Delivery in coordinating and communicating across JHA’s wider portfolio of capital projects, local initiatives, and smaller workstreams. Your contribution will help ensure effective governance, stakeholder engagement, and a smooth transition to business-as-usual operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about community impact, with strong organisational and communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
If you would like more information on this role, or an informal discussion, please contact Cirsty de Gruchy Moseley via Basc@gov.je
