Job Overview
An exciting leadership role for an experienced and motivated Senior Nurse
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Lead Nurse with proven expertise to join the Senior Nursing Team in our Medical Care Group, based in Jersey. This is an exceptional opportunity, offered on a permanent basis to take on a leadership role within a forward-thinking healthcare environment.
As Lead Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-quality care within the Medical Care Group. Reporting directly to the Chief of Service, you will be part of the Care Group's triumvirate, a structure designed to foster clinical engagement and assure excellence in patient care. You will work closely with General Managers, Clinical Directors, and other senior leaders to achieve the organisation’s vision and strategic goals. You will have jointly agreed objectives with the Chief of Service and the Deputy Chief Nurse (Professional Lead).
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead on clinical governance within your areas of responsibility.
• Provide valuable input into the development of strategy, policy, and business planning.
• Drive the workforce leadership agenda, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of clinical care and operational effectiveness.
• Participate in the organisation’s senior manager on-call rota.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Be an experienced senior nurse with demonstrable leadership skills.
• Have a strong track record in clinical governance and strategy development.
• Be capable of influencing and leading change within a complex healthcare setting.
• Be passionate about delivering excellent patient care and improving outcomes.
