Job Overview

To promote and develop the Neurodevelopmental Service in CAMHS by providing clinical and professional leadership in development and implementation of evidence-based practices to support people with a learning disability.

 

To co-ordinate and facilitate high-quality person-centred specialist health care for children and young people with learning disabilities within CAMHS and the community setting.

 

To ensure seamless care provision between mainstream Hospital services, Primary Care services, GP surgeries and specialist learning disability services to reduce health inequalities. 

 

Providing nursing advice, education and direct support on complex health care needs of people with a learning disability to individuals, families, staff and provider services
