Job Overview
Haute Vallee School is seeking to appoint an experienced, dynamic, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work at the forefront of supporting students in Years 7 to 11.
This is an exciting opportunity to join and be part of a team that guides and supports students both in class and other settings.
Applicants should have excellent time-management, communication and ICT skills and be able to work in a busy, vibrant secondary school. They should be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with students, staff and parents and have a history of working with students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis. The successful applicants will be well organised, flexible, friendly and be able to work to changing priorities. Ideally, they will have recent training or significant experience in either SEMH, Dyslexia, ASD needs, Speech and Language support, ADHD or touch-typing programs for students.
