Job Overview
Active are looking for a Leisure Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term contract.
We would love for you to join our friendly team at Fort Regent. Duties will include maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities, setting up sports equipment, interacting with customers, and assisting at the Play Zone.

Job Purpose
To deliver efficient and professional services according to the operational requirements and the specific knowledge and skills necessary, to optimise health and safety and customer experience.
Focus on providing excellent customer experience to members of the public using the facilities available.
Post holders also have responsibilities for the preparation and cleanliness of facilities, undertake ‘front of house’ duties and to contribute to continuous service improvements
Statutory Responsibilities
Active engagement, participation and compliance with any other statutory responsibilities applicable to the role, as amended from time to time.
Knowledge
Health and safety, in particular manual handling, use of cleaning chemicals, working at heights and lone working.
General skills / attributes
Basic computer skills - word, email, etc.
Experience with handling cash and following cash up procedures.
Good communication skills.
Ability to use own initiative.
Experience
Experience with working in the public domain and being part of a team.
