Join Our Oncology Team as a Medical Secretary
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and highly organised individual to join our Oncology team as a Medical Secretary. This is a rewarding role at the heart of a compassionate, dedicated department that supports patients and their families during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
You will be joining a well‑established, supportive team that includes:
- 4 Consultant Oncologists
- 3 Specialist Nurses
- 1 Unit Manager and 1 Deputy Manager
- 5 Registered Nurses
- 2 Healthcare Assistants
About the Role
As a key point of contact for both clinical staff and patients, you will provide essential administrative support, including medical typing, diary management, and coordinating communication across the team. The ability to work efficiently under pressure, prioritise tasks, and maintain professionalism in emotionally charged situations is crucial.
