Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

 

This role will provide vital secretarial support to clinical services, with a primary focus on the accurate and timely typing of clinical correspondence generated from additional clinical activity.   

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing clinic letters and other medical documentation to a high standard, ensuring efficiency and supporting the delivery of excellent patient care.

 

Previous medical secretarial experience is essential, along with excellent typing skills, a strong knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to work effectively in a busy healthcare environment.

 

Candidates should demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
