Job Overview
As a small island service, the Jersey Neonatal Unit offers a uniquely active and rewarding clinical environment. With an 8-bed capacity and around 80 admissions per year, the unit provides an outstanding opportunity to develop and refine your skills across the full spectrum of neonatal care through structured rotation, building confidence and versatility within a cohesive, supportive team.
Take your neonatal expertise to the next level and lead with purpose in delivering exceptional care to newborns and their families. Make a difference from day one and step into a role where your expertise, compassion, and leadership will truly matter.
This is your opportunity to join our dedicated team at Health & Care Jersey Services and step into a role where you will be at the front of neonatal care supporting babies with a wide range of conditions, guiding families through emotional journeys, and coordinating a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of safety and support. Our Neonatal Coordinator team of senior neonatal Nurses/Midwives/ODPs/Paramedics makes a lasting difference in the lives of newborns and their families.
You will be proud to lead by example, mentoring colleagues and advocating for the most vulnerable patients. Make your scope of impact both wide and deeply meaningful, ensuring clinical excellence, safeguarding, service development, and even neonatal transfers to UK tertiary centres, for which you will receive full training and support.
Be part of a team that thrives on collaboration, compassion, and continuous learning. You will work alongside paediatricians, consultants, social workers, and emergency transfer teams, all united by a shared commitment to delivering the highest standard of family care.
If you are ready to bring your skills, heart, and leadership to a role that truly matters this is your opportunity to be part of something extraordinary.
