Job Overview

We are looking for an Orthodontic Therapist to join our dental department within the General Hospital to provide a wide range of Orthodontic treatment including all extended duties, appropriate to a registered (with the General Dental Council (GDC) ) Orthodontic therapists at the request of the overseeing Orthodontic consultant working within the Health and Care Services Orthodontics department.

 

The job purpose includes working closely with the wider team to provide care and support to patients undergoing orthodontic treatment and provide a wide range of tasks focused on the assisting in the planning, treatment, and monitoring or orthodontic procedures.

 

The patient base will predominantly be children/young adults still in full time education referred to the department and deemed as requiring orthodontic with a IOTN of 4 or 5.
