Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Orthopaedic Plaster Technician to join our team, or an enthusiastic individual who is willing to train towards this specialist role.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop or build on your clinical skills within a supportive and patient-focused environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Application and removal of plaster casts
- Fibreglass casting and splinting
- Supporting fracture immobilisation
- Adjustments and repairs of casts
- Fitting back slabs, braces, and orthopaedic supports
- Providing patient education on cast care and recovery
About You:
- Qualified applicants: Recognised Orthopaedic Plaster Technician certification ( Stanmore course )
- Trainee applicants: Motivated, reliable, and keen to learn with a strong interest in patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
