Job Overview

Paediatric Nurses are registered practitioners with professional accountability to efficiently assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of children/young people (0-17) with a range of conditions ensuring high quality evidence-based care is consistently achieved. They will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to provide a friendly service for children/young people and their families that is responsive, flexible, and striving to deliver excellence. This includes reviewing standards and engaging with children/young people and their families to ensure their voices are heard. They may be required to take charge of the shift in the absence of a more senior Nurse.
