Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Law Officers’ Department as a Paralegal to support the Criminal Courts Team in the preparation of cases for prosecution. The role will require the successful candidate to provide a professional and dynamic support service to the team of Assistant Legal Advisers and Legal Advisers. You will be required to demonstrate excellent computer literacy, organisation and time management skills, and the ability to work to deadlines following clear processes and procedures.

Job Purpose

To provide support to the Department’s Assistant Legal Advisers and Legal Advisers in the preparation of litigation cases, investigations or advice files, carrying out legal research, statistical analysis and performing administrative and clerical tasks.
