Job Overview
The post holder will provide a high quality phlebotomy service whilst ensuring strict infection control practices are upheld.
The role encompasses both adults and paediatric patients (over 12 years of age) in inpatient and outpatient settings.
The post holder will demonstrate a level of skill and understanding which enables them undertake specific task in accordance with relevant procedures, guidelines and policies. Blood samples will be collected, labelled and dispatched to the relevant laboratory teams in a timely manner in order to achieve accurate test results.
