Job Overview

Join us in shaping Jersey’s Global Tax Future: Engagement Lead opportunity

Are you ready to be at the forefront of international tax reform and global business engagement? Revenue Jersey looking for a dynamic Engagement Lead to be a vital connection between the largest businesses around the world and the Government team delivering the OECD’s Pillar Two in Jersey.

Implementing Pillar Two in Jersey reinforces our reputation as a transparent, responsible international finance centre, and keeps our tax regime competitive and aligned with global standards.

As Engagement Lead, you’ll be working with internal teams, external advisors, and international partners. In essence, it’s all about:

  • Building and nurturing relationships with key global businesses and industry groups.
  • Gaining trust and confidence, listening effectively to gather ongoing honest feedback and insights from clients and colleagues.
  • Harnessing the insights you gain to deliver actions that enhance Jersey’s legislation and client services.
  • Representing Jersey in high-level external meetings and working groups, contributing to international dialogue.
  • Shaping strategic communications that inform and align stakeholders across different sectors.
  • Supporting compliance and risk monitoring, ensuring Jersey’s tax framework remains robust and responsive.

We’re seeking someone with:

  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal – to deliver clear, professional, and impactful engagement.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex tax developments and translate them into strategic stakeholder responses.
  • Sectoral knowledge of international tax, particularly in areas relevant to Jersey’s finance and corporate services sectors.
  • Technical tax expertise to support compliance across Jersey’s evolving international tax framework.

Though we are looking for someone who can talk confidently with senior executives from our key industries, it's not essential that you have all the technical qualifications we list. The core skills set you’ll need is in relationship building and client care.

You’ll be joining a forward-thinking team at Revenue Jersey, committed to excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

If you’re passionate about international engagement, policy development, and making a real impact – this is the role for you. For more information on this role, or an informal discussion, please contact Fawzia Cassiem at  F.Cassiem@gov.je
