Job Overview

The Probate and Protection Division is one of several administrative arms of the Judicial Greffe that supports the Royal Court and is responsible for two legal areas of administration - Probate (dealing with a person's estate after death) and protection (dealing with legal arrangements for people who cannot manage their own property and financial affairs due to mental incapacity and enabling people with capacity to plan for a time when they might lack capacity through the registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney).  

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join the Probate and Protection Division of the Judicial Greffe as a Probate and Protection Officer to support the Assistant Registrar on probate specific matters.  The postholder will work within a small team of dedicated officers.

The role is graded 8 - 9 based on skills, knowledge and experience.
