Job Overview
The Radiology Department is looking for an individual to join their busy team of Radiology Assistants.
You will be required to work in the front line of patient care, assisting with various examinations in different imaging modalities such as MRI, CT, X-ray and Ultrasound.
In this patient-facing role, you will work closely with all staff, including Radiographers, Radiologists and Nursing staff to provide a high standard of patient care.
In addition to clinical support, this role also includes clerical duties such as dealing with all aspects of the radiology appointments process, using radiology specific IT applications.
The successful candidate must work well in a team and demonstrate excellent IT and communication skills. They must also be able to work accurately, under pressure, and with minimum supervision.
Previous experience in a healthcare environment is highly advantageous, although full training will be provided.
A flexible approach is required to provide cover for early morning, evening and reception duties.
