Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Peer Support Worker to co-ordinate our Recovery Hub, a vital community-based service supporting individuals with mental health needs on their journey towards recovery and rehabilitation.
Drawing on your lived experience of mental health challenges and recovery, you will work alongside service users to provide practical and emotional support, facilitate recovery focused activities and foster a sense of hope, purpose and connection. This is a unique opportunity to use your personal insight to make a real difference in the lives of others.
A key aspect of the role is the co-ordination and facilitation of group sessions and structured courses that promote wellbeing, skills-building and social inclusion. You will take the lead on scheduling, planning and delivering these sessions, collaborating with colleagues, volunteers and external partners to ensure a diverse and engaging programme.

You will develop strong links with local organisations, health and social care providers and voluntary services to ensure a joined-up, person centred approach to care and support.
You will be a key part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to service development and ensuring that recovery principles are embedded in all aspects of the hub's delivery.
