Residential Deputy Manager

We’re on a journey to ensure that every child who comes into our care has a place to call home. Every young person deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential and we’re committed to achieving this. We’re investing £15 million to create new residential homes, as well as investing in our workforce and our service to ensure every child has a childhood.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the change, providing much needed support for our children and young people. Join us at the beginning of our journey, helping to keep children at the centre of our thinking and planning, making an impact every day.

Providing day to day operational management of a team of Residential Practitioners to deliver exceptional care to children & young people through a therapeutic approach is a key focus for this role.

In collaboration with the Registered Manager, the Deputy Manager will ensure the home remains at the forefront of excellence in terms of its services to its children, compliance with all conditions of registration under legislation, and inspection and regulation standards.

The role holder will deputise in the Registered Manager’s absence, ensuring the home is well-managed, effectively led and that staff are fully supported in their roles. They will safeguard children & young people’s rights and interests, ensuring they are fully involved in their care.
