Job Overview
The Road Safety Technical Support Officer plays a key role within the Strategic Road Safety Unit by supporting the delivery of road safety actions outlined in Jersey’s Collision and Casualty Reduction Plan. As the third member of this specialist team, the role directly contributes to the Island’s target of achieving a 50% reduction in killed and seriously road traffic casualties on Jersey’s road network by 2035.
This is a technical and administrative support role suited to someone highly organised, digitally proficient and willing to learn about road safety. The team delivers a range of road safety initiatives varying in size and complexity, so the role requires strong organisational, administrative and digital abilities; good communication and coordination skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders; and ideally some experience with project processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, detail‑focused individual who would thrive working as part of a small, fast-paced and high‑impact team that contributes to the safety of our Island’s roads.
