Job Overview
Les Quennevais school are seeking a School Business Manager to join our supportive leadership team and help shape the future of our school.
As School Business Manager, you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for the strategic and operational management of the school’s business functions. This includes:
- Finance: Budget planning, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with local and national regulations.
- HR: Overseeing recruitment, payroll and contracts

Premises & Health and Safety: Managing facilities (including lettings) , maintenance, and leading the site team to ensure a safe learning and working environment.

Compliance & Governance: Supporting the Headteacher and Governors with statutory reporting and audits.

Marketing: Managing the school website, promotional literature, social media and organising whole school high profile events
- Experience in financial and operational management, ideally within an educational setting.
- Skills in leadership, communication, and strategic planning.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confident with data analysis.
- Commitment to the values of education and community service.

The ability to work collaboratively with staff, governors, and external partners.
