Job Overview
The senior Healthcare assistant works within the multi-disciplinary mental health team supporting people with mental health difficulties within community settings. This role is within the intensive community support team. The team provides short term, intensive interventions for service users who are under the care of the community mental health team and specialist services.
The team provides support 7 days per week from 8am until 8pm
The role contributes to the assessment and planning of care, and provides high quality support that is person centred and recovery focused, ensuring the person using the service is integral to assessments and has necessary information to make decisions about their care.
The senior healthcare assistant will work under the supervision of an appropriately qualified practitioner.
