Job Overview
We’re on the lookout for passionate and resilient Senior Health Care Assistants to join our Learning Disability team. This role involves supporting adults aged 18+ who present with significant behaviours that may challenge. You’ll play a key role in providing structure and consistency, supporting the development of daily living skills, encouraging meaningful community involvement, and promoting independence.
We’re looking for adaptable and motivated individuals committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You must be flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts, including early and late shifts, waking nights, sleep-ins, and full 24-hour shifts as part of a rota.

Qualifications
In possession of Level 3 vocational award in health and social care Minimum of 2 years’ experience at Grade 1 post
Knowledge
Minimum of 2 years’ experience at Grade 1 post Knowledge of personal care and related procedures
Technical / Work Based Skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills Demonstrate IT skills and will carry out all designated tasks effectively
Experience
Demonstrate own understanding and support junior members of the team to ensure compliance of HCS infection control policies and procedures. Maintains a professional portfolio, ability to reflect on own practise in order to identify own training needs and development
