Job Overview
Join Adult Learning Disability Services and become part of a dedicated residential team supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), complex health needs and behaviours that may challenge to live fulfilling, meaningful and independent lives.
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will support people to achieve their goals, maximise their independence and be active members of their local community. You will provide high-quality, person-centred support that promotes dignity, respect, inclusion, choice and positive outcomes.
Working closely with colleagues, families and multidisciplinary professionals, you will support individuals with personal care, daily living activities, community access and social inclusion.
Experience of Positive Behaviour Support and person-centred approaches would be advantageous.

Shift Pattern
This role is worked on a rota basis and may include a combination of:
- Early shifts
- Late shifts
- Long day shifts
- Sleep-in shifts
- Waking night shifts (where applicable)
- 24-hour shifts (where applicable)
- Weekends and Public Holidays
Flexibility is essential, as our services operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to meet the needs of the people we support.
To support work-life balance and forward planning, staff rotas are normally published 6 to 8 weeks in advance, allowing employees to plan their personal commitments wherever possible.
