Job Overview

 

The senior Healthcare assistant works within the multi-disciplinary mental health team supporting people with mental health difficulties within community settings (including people with acute mental health needs as an alternative to admission).

 

The role contributes to the assessment and planning of care, and provides high quality support that is person centred and recovery focused, ensuring the person using the service is integral to assessments and has necessary information to make decisions about their care.

 

The senior healthcare assistant will work under the supervision of an appropriately qualified practitioner.
