Job Overview

Inspire Recovery: Senior 1 Cardiac Rehabilitation Physiotherapist
Elevate your career in a premier specialist role where your clinical autonomy, leadership, and vision will directly shape hospital-to-community recovery pathways. We are seeking an ambitious, forward-thinking Senior 1 Physiotherapist to take clinical and operational ownership of our dynamic Cardiorespiratory Rehabilitation Service. Working within an innovative, multidisciplinary team, you will drive evidence-based practice and deliver seamless, high-quality continuity of care across both hospital and community settings.
In this high-impact role, you will independently manage a diverse and highly complex caseload spanning cardiorespiratory conditions, frailty, and palliative rehabilitation. You will move beyond standard care, designing bespoke, high-level exercise and lifestyle interventions while managing intersecting co-morbidities like musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopaedic presentations.
As an operational anchor, you will drive service efficiency, optimize patient flow, and champion strict clinical governance across the care continuum. Beyond clinical excellence, you will inspire the next generation of therapists by providing formal mentorship, clinical supervision, and performance appraisals to junior staff and assistants.
To thrive in this specialized environment, an active membership with the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Cardiovascular Rehabilitation (ACPICR) is highly preferred. If you are a passionate clinician ready to blend elite cardiorespiratory care with service leadership, we want to hear from you.
